This blog is run by Donovan and Heather Drew (mostly Donovan). We are Christians who are preparing to be missionaries in South Africa, where we will serve as the Directors of Orphan Ministry for a mercy ministry called 1Hope (see our ministry website here).
Mostly, this blog serves us – it helps us collect blog posts, articles, videos, sermons, etc that we find helpful, and enables us to easily find and refer back to them down the road. It also provides a place where we can work out our thoughts on various subjects on paper. We are not experts — we’re learning! But we hope what we post on here might also prove helpful to those who visit our blog in some way.
As possible, we’d like to post on here at least once a week. Areas of special interest (that we’ll likely post on more often) include:
